A sterling silver pendant with a textured surface and oxidised finish.
Handmade by Sarah Bourke on the far south coast of New South Wales, whose work brings together silversmithing and woodworking, drawing on forms found in the natural environment.
Crafted in sterling silver, the surface is built up with an irregular, clustered texture, recalling the shifting forms found in rockpools. The oxidised finish deepens the surface, with darker tones emphasising the recesses and highlights of the surfaces.
Suspended on a fine chain, it rests at the chest, with the textured surface creating variation as light moves across it.
