Viewing jewellery as wearable sculpture, Johnny is inspired by the delicate and complex connections and systems found in nature. Spending time along the California coast exploring intertidal formations and ecosystems has greatly influenced his current collections.
Johnny's 'Rough Luxe' collection features stones cut in his studio with an emphasis on keeping the raw character alive amidst a few carefully placed facets, creating stones like no other.
All work is handmade using recycled metal and conflict free stones in his studio in Manchester, Vermont.
This ring is made from 18 carat yellow gold, with a 3.05ct Australian green sapphire and five 1.2-2.3mm white diamonds (0.1ct total weight)
