ONLY ONCE
Contemporary Jewellery Exhibition 2026
Submissions are now OPEN

Please read carefully before submitting:

Your submission must be of existing work made within the last two years (ie. after Jan 2024).

ELIGIBILITY
Emerging and established artists and makers.
Must currently live and work in Australia.

SIZE
Each piece of jewellery must be able to fit in our display cabinets with a height restriction of 30cm.

NUMBER OF PIECES
You can submit up to 3 completed pieces for consideration. (must be of completed work, ie. no concepts)

MATERIALS
The jewellery can be made from any metals or materials. 

SUBMITTING
Use the form below to submit your: name, artist bio, medium, dimensions and one image of your submission. 

FEE
Free to submit an application.
If selected there will be a $20 fee to contribute to administrative costs.

IMPORTANT DATES
Submissions open 22 April 2026
Entries must be in by 5pm EDT 19 June 2026.
Applicants will be notified about selection by 30 June 2026.
Delivery of work to Studio Melt before and no later than 17th Jul 2026
Opening Night Friday 11 Sept 2026
Exhibition dates 11 Sept - 27 Sept 2026

EXHIBITION
Only Once will be exhibited at the contemporary jewellery space Studio Melt.
18 Wolfe Street, Newcastle NSW
All works will be for sale during this period. Studio Melt takes a 40% commission on all exhibition sales.

NON CONSIDERATION
Successful submissions will be chosen by the exhibition panel, not the owner of Studio Melt. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
