Handmade by Newcastle-based artist Xanthe Alys, whose jewellery combines an obsession with fine detail with a playful, experimental approach to materials and making.

Crafted in sterling silver, each leaf is individually cut, textured and fold-formed by hand to create its central vein and gently curved profile. The process gives the silver a sense of depth and movement while retaining the irregularities and subtle surface details that make natural forms so compelling. Suspended from simple sterling silver ear wires, the elongated leaves make a distinctive statement while remaining light and easy to wear.
