Angela Hailey is a Newcastle-based jeweller and the founder of Studio Melt. She studied at Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney, and now works from a studio space at The Creator Incubator.
After many years focused on building Studio Melt, Angela is slowly returning to her own making practice. Her work is largely made in silver, with a pared-back, sculptural quality. She is drawn to simple forms, quiet details and pieces that feel considered rather than decorative.
