Cynthia Nge is the studio jeweller behind Minicyn, a practice she founded in 2009 after closing a fifteen-year chapter as a graphic designer and illustrator. She completed diplomas in Graphic Design and Applied Arts in Auckland, New Zealand, in the 1990s.

Her jewellery is influenced by a blend of design sensibility, the quiet language of nature, and a long-standing affection for vintage and antique objects. These references inform pieces that balance graphic simplicity with subtle echoes of the past.

Alongside her jewellery practice, Cynthia works with ceramics, exploring the decorative technique of pattern-making known by its Japanese term, Nerikomi. Before relocating to the south of France, she ran her atelier and shop in Montmartre, Paris. Since July 2022, she has been based in Marseille, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France, where she continues to make, exhibit, and sell her work internationally.
