Danielle Lo

Danielle Lo is a Sydney-based jeweller whose practice is informed by years of study, making, and travel. She completed multiple qualifications at Design Centre Enmore, a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Sydney College of the Arts, and the Associate program at JamFactory. She also undertook a self-directed residency in the United Kingdom, learning alongside established makers. Returning to her hometown in 2019, Danielle established her own practice in Sydney.

Her work explores the natural landscape, drawing on forms observed in her surroundings. Ideas often begin with observation before developing through drawing and metal-forming experiments into delicate, floral-like jewels made from precious metals. With a deep appreciation for the craft of silversmithing, Danielle combines lost-wax casting techniques with hand fabrication to create her work.
