Jo Hawley was born in England and grew up in New Zealand. She lived in London for several years returning to NZ to study Art History and English Literature at Auckland University before relocating to Melbourne in 2000.
Jo started experimenting with jewellery not long after arriving in Melbourne and completed an Advanced Diploma in Jewellery at NMIT in 2012.
She now lives and works in Central Victoria.

Inspired by architecture and the New Zealand landscape, her work looks at the integration of form, line and surface and the interplay between interior and exterior spaces.
