Regina Krawets

In 2017 a long-standing hobby in creating wearable art works embroidered and woven with tiny seed beads inspired Regina to return to tertiary studies. After completing a Bachelor of Design majoring in jewellery and textiles at UNSW Art, Design and Architecture, Regina also completed the Certificate III in Jewellery Manufacture at Design Centre, Enmore in 2023.

Working from her garden studio in Northern Sydney, Regina draws inspiration from her natural surroundings and her previous career in interior design. She creates small wearable sculptures that explore the intersection of nature and architecture, combining semi-precious stones with geometric forms that embrace imperfection and reflect the tension between organic chaos and humanity's desire for order.

The brooch remains her favourite form. She continues to work with tiny glass seed beads, drawn to their vibrant colours, their repetitive nature, and the meditative process they offer.
