Tamara Dixon

As the fourth generation in a jewellery and watchmaking family, jewellery has always been a part of Tamara's life, and she is the first woman and manufacturing jeweller to carry on the legacy.

Having lived in Zimbabwe, the UK and Australia, Tamara now works from her studio in Perth, Western Australia, splitting her time between Australia and the UK. Her training has been varied, including study under a Master Goldsmith, gemological studies through the GIA (America), and jewellery manufacture and object design in Australia.

Tamara's jewellery is an ever-evolving collection that combines traditional chain-making techniques with a contemporary twist, created in limited editions. She works with fine silver (no added base metals), incorporating sterling silver in clasps and ear wires for added durability. Every link is individually made by hand using traditional metalsmithing methods.
