Clare Hooper currently resides in Illawarra/Dharawal Country. Her jewellery making journey began as a hobby with beading and basic wire work, before progressing to completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Hons) and a Master of Fine Arts at the University of Sydney.

Clare's artistic practice captures moments in time, which become small portable objects that can be worn or displayed. Her inspirations come from the actions of walking, observing and thinking in her surroundings. The finished work incorporates enamelling techniques in both precious and non-precious materials.
