Clare Hooper currently resides in Illawara/ Dharawal country. Her jewellery making
journey began as a hobby with beading and basic wire work that then progressed to
completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts Hons and a Master of Fine Arts degree at the
University of Sydney.
Clare’s artistic practice captures moments in time which then become small portable
objects that be worn or displayed. Her inspirations come from the actions of walking,
observing and thinking in her surrounds. The finished work can include enamelling
techniques in precious and non-precious materials
