Orange and yellow sapphires scatter across a slender golden oval, nestled amongst embossed leaves and dots against a dark oxidised silver setting.

Handmade by Robin Wells in Perth, whose jewellery explores the beauty and fragility of Australian native flora through finely detailed, contemporary forms.

The narrow oval face is crafted in oxidised sterling silver and topped with a layer of 18ct yellow gold, creating a rich contrast between the darkened silver and warm gold. Leaves and dots are embossed across the surface, with five small orange and yellow sapphires scattered through the pattern in tiny points of colour. The elongated proportions give the ring a distinctive profile, while the oxidised sterling silver band frames the detailed golden surface and lets the vibrant sapphires stand out.
