Foliage Imprint Earrings - Robin Wells

Tiny rhodolite garnets nestle amongst imprinted foliage in these richly textured oxidised silver earrings, adding flashes of deep berry colour against the darkened metal.

Handmade by Robin Wells in Perth, whose jewellery explores the beauty and fragility of Australian native flora through finely detailed, contemporary forms.

Each rounded sterling silver form is embossed with delicate foliage before being oxidised, bringing the fine botanical pattern into sharp relief. Three small rhodolite garnets are scattered through each composition, sitting almost like tiny berries amongst the leaves and adding subtle points of colour and light. Fixed directly to the hook rather than freely suspended, the earrings hold their rounded shape neatly at the ear, allowing the intricate surface and garnets to remain the focus.
