Hakea Leaf Earrings - Robin Wells

Irregular silver leaves are layered with flashes of rich 24ct gold and finely embossed Hakea foliage, bringing texture and botanical detail to a compact pair of earrings.

Crafted in fine silver with sterling silver hooks, each leaf-shaped element is fused with 24ct gold using the traditional Korean technique of keum-boo. Golden leaf forms sit across the silver surface before an intricate Hakea leaf pattern is embossed over the composition, creating overlapping layers of colour and texture. Suspended freely from the hooks, the irregular leaves have a little movement as they are worn, allowing the silver, gold and fine botanical impressions to catch the light from different angles.
