Myoporum Oxidised Hooks - Anja Jagsch
Delicate botanical forms in oxidised sterling silver capture the fine branching structure of native myoporum.
Handmade by Anja Jagsch in Happy Valley, South Australia, whose work is known for its organic forms and thoughtful metalwork.
Cast directly from collected plant material, the intricate structure of the myoporum is preserved in silver, retaining its natural detail and irregularity, and then oxidised to a rich black finish. The clustered form allows light through the open structure to reveal shifts between highlight and shadow.
These earrings hang lightly and move with the wearer, a direct translation of plant form into a wearable piece.
