Pearl Drop Earrings - Catherine White

Sterling silver earrings featuring freshwater pearls suspended beneath hand-engraved silver elements inspired by limpet shells.

Handmade by Catherine White in Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, whose work draws on patterns and textures found in the natural environment to create sculptural silver jewellery.

Crafted in sterling silver, the curved upper forms are engraved by hand with fine linear markings that reference the surface structure of limpet shells. Suspended below, the 12 mm freshwater pearls introduce a soft contrast against the engraved silver, bringing balance and variation to the composition. The articulated connection allows the pearls to catch light as they move.

Extended in length, they sit lightly below the ear, with the curved silver forms creating a clear sculptural outline.
