Finding yourself in love takes on a wonderfully literal meaning in this 14ct gold ring, where an anatomical heart becomes a map and four baguette diamonds mark the spot.

Handmade by Atelier Narcé, whose jewellery transforms imagery from ancient seals and classical antiquity into richly detailed, contemporary objects.

A playful subversion of the traditional love heart, the ring replaces the familiar symbol with an intricately detailed anatomical heart. Four white baguette diamonds form an arrow across its surface, creating a tiny “You Are Here” marker. But exactly where is here? Does the arrow mark the wearer’s place in the giver’s affections, or the giver’s place in theirs? Romantic, strange and a little bit funny, it turns a familiar declaration of love into something much more intriguing.
